Rural health outcomes dire without primary care: New RFDS Report

Congratulations to the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia on the release of the “Best for the bush, rural and remote health base line 2022” report.

This new document highlights the need to ensure that inequalities in access to optimal health care for remote, rural and Indigenous communities are addressed.  This is also the driving force behind our mission to improve prehospital stroke care for all Australians.

More details on the outcomes from this report can be found in a new article in Insight+, published by the Medical Journal of Australia.  Special thanks to Dr Anna Holwell for raising awareness of the Australian Stroke Alliance in this feature, she is certainly a champion of our work.
